Little Eagles Soccer Camp

Since Ramsey had chosen swim lessons last Fall instead of soccer, we were anxiously anticipating a new sport to introduce Ramsey to.  Soccer was cancelled this Spring due to the COVID pandemic.  We were hoping and praying that we could get Ramsey out late this summer and fall for the new season.

A sporting opportunity arose with the local soccer association; the Little Eagles "Developing Champions" Soccer Camp 2020.   We enrolled Ramsey in this event, which was dedicated to one hour, each night, for three consecutive days.
Ramsey was hamming it up for the camera, posing in a myriad ways.  He was really getting into it.
This camp was specifically for 5 to 10 year olds.  The children were split into groups by age.
Ramsey LOVED soccer camp!  I think he was in heaven, as the field they played on was FLAT, unlike our hilly yard and ditches.

Mostly, the smaller kids in his age group did drills and played fun games to learn dribbling.  At the end of the nights, all of the kids formed groups and ran relay races with the soccer balls.
At the end of each night, Ramsey didn't want to leave because he was having so much fun!
The best part of the camp is that he met a lot of new friends and is anxiously anticipating the Fall soccer season.   ...fingers crossed they're able to continue the program while the pandemic is still among us.
