Connor, the Birthday Boy

Connor is now... (wait for it...) 15!!  What?!?!   Wow.  Just wow!     A high school Freshman, driving cars, chasing girls (? er, not yet... we don't think!)... growing up.

 Connor had his buddy Dylan for an over-nighter on Friday to celebrate.    We ate some cake, opened gifts, and the boys played video games and went sledding.

Behind the scenes:  I had taken Friday off from work to clean, do laundry, and bake Connor's birthday cake.  The idea was create a camouflage cake with dark chocolate buttercream.  I got sort of close.... green and brown quasi-camouflage... missing the khaki (yellow) cake mix.  I should have made more mix.  *sigh*  Oh well, it was still tasty.
