Early Walleye Hunting

Even though the ice wasn't 100% off the water, it didn't stop the boys from trying their luck at pulling in walleye.
After work/school, Ramsey, Riggsy, and I went for a walk on the lake trail.  Then, the guys took out all of the fishing gear from storage and set up camp.
Before they could cast much, they had to remove a large dead tree from our shore line.   We always seem to get lucky with these types of things washing up in the Spring!
After about an hour of casting, the poles were put away.  Unfortunately, they came to the house sans fish.
Looking ahead to the weekend:  Install the dock!  Maybe better luck will follow.
