Connor, Sadie, and Isaac were gone for quite a while. But, when they came back, they had surprises to show us.
They had caught two large painted turtles in a nearby bay.
"Snips and snails and puppy dog tails, that's what little boys are made of!" Surrounded by my sweet boys (hubby Eric, sons Connor and Ramsey, and our dog, Jango), I thought this a rather befitting name for my crew's blog. To our cherished friends and family, happy viewing! We love you!

Lake Ashtabula Vacation - Day 1
Oh, tis the fun summer season already and our yearly trip to Nana and Bumpa's cabin! We hadn't been unpacked for only a few minutes before the "big kids" decided to take the paddle boat and go exploring.
Poor Riggs didn't get to tag along, but after they left, I threw his throwing duck for him to keep him occupied.

Ramsey was quite interested. And, immediately he knew he needed to get something; Nana's ceramic turtle from the deck. I suppose he thought Nana's turtle could be their buddy.
