It seems that some nights every cast has a hit. The perch in the pic above is a jumbo, so it should give an idea of the size of good eaters we are catching.
"Snips and snails and puppy dog tails, that's what little boys are made of!" Surrounded by my sweet boys (hubby Eric, sons Connor and Ramsey, and our dog, Jango), I thought this a rather befitting name for my crew's blog. To our cherished friends and family, happy viewing! We love you!

Just Another Fishing Post
We seem to be having a LOT of fishing posts already for the year. But seriously, it's been quite ridiculous! The dock fishing has been incredible.
The amazing catch this year has been due to the overpopulation of the lake; fish food is lower in supply and higher in demand. Due the overages, Game Fish & Parks has removed the size minimum from our lake (previously, walleye had to be 14"). Still, we are not keeping anything that is too small. This seems to be quite a familiar scene at our household, multiple times per week, albeit Eric or Connor at the helm, cleaning away.
