Soooooooooo... sharing this photo that a local photographer posted on our lake's Facebook page that I manage. Eric was awake at the time this was taken (est 1:30 AM last night), but said he didn't see it. This photo, however, is taken from a different view than ours; it's looking west from the east. Our main view is just opposite.
Regardless, it's gorgeous and I hope we can actually view something like this at some point this year! I have never ever seen the Northern Lights. Eric's seen many visions of them whilst in college in northern ND.
Recently, other Facebookers have posted similar Aurora Borealis, but in the western part of the state.
Absolutely breathtaking!
