Shrinky Dinks

When I was growing up, I LOVED to draw (still do, when I have the time).  I drew on napkins at restaurants, practiced my writing techniques while at the babysitter's, and doodled on anything that had open space with whatever medium I could find.   And... I loved "Shrinky Dinks"; clear thick pieces of 8 1/2 x 11" plastic with figures of Barbie, horses, toys, or just about anything else you can imagine on them.  Then, they were colored, cut into shapes, and thrown into the oven for a few minutes to shrink to a third of the size.
Yup, I loved my Shrinky Dinks.  Usually mine came with plastic stands so the things I created could stand up.
While browsing on Amazon, I came across the shrinking paper.  I thought Ramsey might get a kick out of these too.  Best of all, he could create whatever he wanted.  Of course, he chose STAR WARS guys... lots and lots of Star Wars guys.    Aaaaaaand, a few other things (Minecraft creeper, a flower, and a flaming volleyball) for personalized gifts.
We found some fun things on the Internet and transposed them onto the paper.
Ramsey colored them with permanent marker (Lord help his shirt - it will probably never come clean!).
Then we cut them out, punched a hole in the top, popped them in the oven, and watched them get tiny!
After that, we added key chain rings.  Guess what some of you are getting for Christmas from Ramsey?
But not this one.  This one's mine.  :-)
