Get Well Cards for Ramsey

While Ramsey was out of school, quarantined from our COVID outbreak, he received a call from his teacher, Mrs. Hermansen.  She wanted to check in with him, see how he was feeling, say "hi" and to talk to him about what kinds of school work he could be doing at home.   When the conversation was about ready to end, Ramsey asked Mrs. H if the kids at school were going to make him "get well cards".   I could hear her chuckle on the other end and say that she'd make sure they did make him cards.

Today, Ramsey received a package in the mail.  It was from Mrs. H and her second grade class.  It was chock full of cards with fun pictures and sweet notes from the kids.  Since Ramsey wouldn't be back in school before January 2022, she wanted to make sure he received the package before Christmas.
Ramsey couldn't have been more thrilled!
In the package was also the Christmas ornament that he had made (snowman with his picture on it) and a book from Mrs. H.
Lastly, Ramsey had made us a Christmas card, so that was among the items as well.
