Proud Angler Channel Catfish Catch

One evening, Eric and I (and Jango) went on the pontoon, as the boys wanted to stay behind and do other things (watch YouTube and game).
We had just trolled over "the hump" when we heard Eric's inside reel go nuts. Whizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
The fish fought and fought.  Eric was having a bit of angina, thinking it could be a massive whopper walleye!  After about 15 minutes, Eric landed it onto the boat.   It was a large channel catfish that we have in this lake.
He is, by far, the largest fish we have caught on the pontoon to date.  Not a walleye by any means, but still a keeper.
When we got him in the house, he weighed in at 15 lbs 3 oz.  A proud angler in this state for a channel catfish is 15 lbs.
This fishie will bring a heckuva good meal.  Catfish is Ramsey's favorite!
